A regional* arts service organization with nearly 35 years of history, Alternate ROOTS is an invaluable national resource to artists, organizers and cultural workers. As a visible champion of activist artists, ROOTS is looked to for leadership particularly in the Southern United States, where it provides the most direct services to its members. Alternate ROOTS provides the connective tissue for a distinct segment of the arts and culture field - artists who have a commitment to making work in, with, by, for and about their communities, and those whose cultural work strives for social justice.
The Southern Center for Human Rights is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing human rights into death row and the prison industrial complex. They are a group of hard-working attorneys and staff that are actively pursuing the injustices created by incarceration. They needed a secure website database in which a remote staff of lawyers could enter information about their case, enter research and publications, share documents and calendars, schedule different rooms for meetings and allow investigators and lawyers to schedule use of the company cars. The secure site exists as a sub-domain of their website. The website was also redeveloped and designed to take donations, process event registrations, and share documents and case information with their users.
Bioneers is an organizations that hosts an enourmous series of conferences every year around the United States, and they needed a full-service organizational database for keeping track of their memberships, orders, donors and networking, as well an events management platform. The project also included the development of CiviNode.
As a leading volunteer and member of the Information Communications Technology committee and a National Planning Committee liason, jellobrain project managed and coordinated the configuration of the Content Management System (drupal) and the registration systems used at the forum.

We provide information, speakers, trainings, courses, and workshops to achieve these goals.
